PEC
TITLE SCREEN (OR WAVING FLAG SCREEN)
At the PEC Title
Screen (or Waving Flag Screen), you have four options. You can begin a new
game, load a currently saved game, view the President-Elect Charts, or Quit PEC
.
To start a new game, you must first select the amount of weeks you want to
play for in the Select Length of Campaign list. 72 weeks is considered a
full-length campaign. You may choose whatever you wish. In the
demonstration version of PEC
only 4 weeks or 9 weeks can be chosen. Once you have selected you week
amount, click the Begin Campaign button. You will then be taken to the
Candidate Status Screen.
To load a previously saved campaign, click the Load Campaign button.
You will be taken to the Campaign Screen and be exactly where you were when you
saved the campaign. (This option is not available in the demonstration
version of PEC.)
PEC keeps a hall of
fame of the top 15 winning candidates per campaign length in weeks. These
lists, called President-Elect Charts, can be view by click the President-Elect
Chart button.
To exit PEC, click the
Quit PEC
button.
The next page in this user manual will assume you clicked the Begin Campaign button. Loading a previously saved campaign and the President-Elect Charts are discussed later in this user manual.
