SLANDER ARTICLE SCREEN
It is hard to beat a good old scandal to mess up a candidate's reputation, and they seem to come out of nowhere. Even worse, the public always tend to believe whatever they read in the newspapers.
It doesn't matter how you gripe and complain! If you get hit with a slander article, your candidate just has to grin and bear it. Your next step is to try to salvage what is left of your shattered reputation. The damage incurred varies in severity but may range from an increase in unpopularity to losses in state support. It can be a real struggle to overcome a blow by the media.
Once you've been unpleasantly presented a Slander Article Screen, click the OK button to dismiss it and continue the game.
