This web site is bound by the policies of The Creations of Timothy S. Klugh (TM). Only honest and moral interactions, information, and operations are permitted.  Furthermore, all trademarks and copyrighted materials on this web site must be respected appropriately.  Any users breaking the policies may be terminated from use without warning.  The Stake President or Stake Mission President of each registered stake is responsible for making sure these policies are kept.

HOW DO I LOG-IN?

It is actually quite simple.  At the log-in screen you will be asked to select your stake and enter your user name and password. Only stakes that are listed are considered registered and are allowed access to the web site.  If your stake is not registered and you would like it to be registered, please CLICK HERE.  The user name and password should have been provided to you be your Stake Presidency or Stake Mission Presidency (whichever is appropriate.)

Once you have selected your stake and entered your user name and password, click the [Log-in] button.  You will either be taken to the web site home page or be informed that your log-in attempt failed.  If your log-in attempt fails, it is because your user name or password that you entered was not correct for the selected stake.

If you receive the "Oops!" screen when you log-in, it is because the cookies feature is not enabled on your browser.  The cookies feature on your browser must be enabled for this web site to work correctly.

The [Reset] button shown on the log-in page will return the input fields on the page to their default settings.

WHAT ARE COOKIES?  WHAT IS STORED IN COOKIES FOR THIS WEB SITE?

Because of the way this web site is able to interact with the user, cookies are needed for successful operation.  Cookies are files written by your browser to your computer.  Web sites you visit may use cookies to store information to customize their services with you.

Are cookies dangerous?
They can be misused.  There are many articles about cookies on the Internet because they are written on your computer.  Some articles are more truthful than others.  However, cookies cannot do anything hazardous to your computer or your files on the computer.  The danger is with the information you provide voluntarily to a web site.  If you provide, for example, your email address or telephone number to a web site, the web site might store that information into cookies on your computer where it can be accessed again by the web site later.  This is where the danger is.  But keep in mind that you must first provide a web site with the information before the web site can misuse it.  The only exception is possibly your email address.  Some browsers provide your email address automatically under certain circumstances.  This is due to your browser.  It is not due to cookies.

Can cookies give your computer viruses?
No, cookies only hold specific values that are treated as data.  Besides, your browser writes the cookies.  They are not downloaded directly from a web site.

Do cookies take up a lot of space?
No, in fact they take up a rather small space.  Browsers place strict limits on cookies and how much can be stored in them.

Can web sites read my computer's hard drive through cookies?
Web sites can only read what is written in the cookies that the specific web site has written.  A web site can read nothing more than what the web site has requested the browser to write to a cookie.  Your spreadsheets, documents, and so on cannot be read by a web site.  Because a web site provides the data to be written to cookies, they can only get information from you that you have entered voluntarily into the web site already.  This is with the exception of values that your browser automatically provides to a web site.  The browser will send a web site information about your computer, your browser, and your navigation through the Internet.  This is the way a browser works.  It has nothing to do with cookies.  The only controversial issue is that some browsers provide your email address under certain circumstances.  Once again, this is not cookies.  This is your browser.

Can cookies written by a web site remain on my hard drive even after I leave a web site?
Yes they can.  Some web sites do this so they can automatically read certain data written to the cookies whenever you visit their web site again.  All cookies have an expiration date, though some may be very long.  Some cookies expire whenever you end your session with the web site.  This web site uses those kind of cookies.

What does this web site store in cookies?
This web site must keep a certain level of security because of the data it stores.  To keep you from having to enter your stake, unit, user name, password and authorization code over and over again, this web site stores necessary information about you in a cookie.  This cookie remains on your hard drive throughout your current session and will be erased when your session has ended.

WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW MY STAKE, UNIT, USER NAME, PASSWORD AND/OR AUTHORIZATION CODE?

Stake, unit, user name, passwords and authorization codes are set up when a stake has registered to use this web site and modified when needed.  When you log in, you will provide your stake, user name and password to access this web site.  You provide the unit and authorization code at other times in the web site.  The information can be obtained from your Stake President or Stake Mission President (whichever is appropriate.)  If the Stake President or Stake Mission President has lost this information, they are to go through the proper channels to receive this information again.

HOW SECURE IS MY MISSION DATA?  IS IT KEPT CONFIDENTIAL?

The data stored in this web site is not used for any other purpose than that of the stake who provided it.  The Stake President or Stake Mission President can provide access for his stake to any members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints he feels is appropriate.  The web site does not expose your data to any other parties.  Only the stake, the Creations of Timothy S. Klugh (TM), and the web services used for this web site have access to your stake's data.  Your stake's data that is stored in this web site will not be given, sold, or made viewable to any outside parties or individuals.

Your data is secured with the best security system we have to keep it out of the hands of unauthorized parties or individuals.  We also try to maintain regular back ups of the information in case something unforeseen is to go wrong.

CAN OTHER STAKES SEE EACH OTHER'S MISSION DATA?

No that should not be able to.  Each stake has it's own password to access the web site and its own data storage.  The Creations of Timothy S. Klugh (TM) do not share these passwords with any other stakes.  The Stake President or Stake Mission President of each stake is responsible for keeping the passwords of his stake confidential.

WHAT IF I NEED TO KNOW MORE?

Feedback can be provided to appropriate users of registered stakes within the web site.  The Feedback facility is made available once the user has successfully logged into this web site.  If a Stake President or Stake Mission President is interest in registering their stake for use with this web site, please CLICK HERE.  Otherwise, please use the Feedback facility once successfully logged in.  If the question is critical, please have the Stake President or Stake Mission President contact us through the appropriate channels.
