The Klugh Theatre web site is your
guide to activities of the Klugh Theatre. Using this web site, you
can browse the Klugh Theatre karaoke library, browse pictures and videos
of past events, update your member information, and check when future
events are taking place. This section of the help page is here to assist you in
learning how to use the Klugh Theatre web site. Browsing the library is done by using three dropdown list boxes. These dropdown list boxes are titled View By Artist Name, View By Song Title and View By Song Code. They are in the Operation Header, which is shown below: ![]() Each dropdown list box has its own Expand Button ( The Expand Button ( ![]() When the dropdown list box is expanded, you will see the list of
entries that the list contains. Browsing the list can be done by
using the scroll bar, arrow keys or Page Up/Page Down keys. You
can change what item is selected by using the mouse button, arrow keys,
Page Up/Page Down keys, Home key and End key. You can also jump
the selector to the first entry beginning with a desired letter or
number by pressing the key corresponding to that letter or number. ![]() Depending on what entry is selected, you may receive one or more
report list stacked below each other. By scrolling the web page
you may see every report list generated.
Using Members Area ![]() Use the dropdown list box to select your name. If you are not familiar with how to use a dropdown list box, please refer to the instructions in the section above titled Browsing Klugh Theatre Karaoke Library. Once you have selected your name, enter your password. A default password is given to each member, and the members are able to change their password whenever the desire. Whatever is your latest password, you will enter this password here. If you have forgotten you password, put a click the Send Password To Me By Email check box to put a check in the check box. When this option is checked, clicking the Log In Button ( Once you have selected your name and entered your password, click Log In Button ( ![]() At the top of the member page is the Update Form. This is the most important form on the member page because you must click the Update Button ( When you are finished updating your Event Request List for a Klugh Theatre event, you can simply email it directly to Timothy and Delora Klugh from your member page. To do this, click the Email Your Event Request List To Timothy & Delora check box so that there it is checked. Then click the Update Button ( Below the Update Form is the Account Information Form. This form is shown below: ![]() The Account Information form shows you the date that your membership began and all the information used for your log in. At the top is your name. In the middle is the email address that your password is sent to if forgotten. You can change this email address at any time. Be sure to click the Update Button ( Changing your password takes a little more effort. First type in your new password in the New Password text box. However, this password change will not take affect unless you also click the Change Password check box so that it is checked. Finally, be sure to click the Update Button ( Below the Account Information Form is the Event Request List Form. This is the most commonly used form on the member page because it is the form where you list the songs that you want to do at the next Klugh Theatre event. This form is shown below: ![]() Because your karaoke songs are played in the order that they are listed, you will want to move the karaoke songs around in the Event Request List Form so that they are in the order that you want to perform them. To move the songs up and down the Event Request List Form, use the Move Up Button ( To add or change a karaoke song in you list, type or paste the Song Code for that karaoke song into the Song Code text box. By clicking the Update Button ( The Key dropdown list box for each karaoke song is used if you know the song is either too high or low for your vocal range. The default is "Nat" for having the song played at its original pitch. By expanding this dropdown box, you can select how many times flat (b) or sharp (#) that you want the song to be placed when you perform it. The more flat (b) you select, the lower the pitch the song will be transposed to. The more sharp (#) you select, the higher the pitch the song will be transposed to. To clear a row in the Event Request List Form, delete the contents of the Song Code text box (on the row of the song you want to remove) and click the Update Button ( Finally, be sure to click the Update Button (
Below the Event Request List Form is
the Favorite Choices List Form. Although its appearance is very
similar to the Event Request List Form, the Favorite Choices List Form
is not used to submit you requested songs for the next Klugh Theatre
event. Rather the Favorite Choices List Form is a larger list that
allows you to store all many of your favorite karaoke songs that you may
choose from for different events. This way, although you may have
removed a song from the Event Request List Form, you can keep a copy of
it in the Favorite Choices List Form so that you do not have to look it
up again in the Klugh Theatre karaoke library. The Favorite
Choices List Form is shown below: ![]() Most of the functionality of the Favorite Choices List Form is the same as the Event Request List Form. The only exceptions are as follows: * The Favorite Choices List Form holds an additional ten songs, * No rows are turned red if selected by another member, and * The Favorite Choices List Form is not submitted for a Klugh Theatre event. Finally, be sure to click the Update Button ( Below The Favorite Choices List Form is the View By Form. This feature was added to the member page for those members who want to make their own spreadsheets or databases from the Klugh Theatre karaoke library. The View By Form is shown below: By click on the View By Artist Name link, a new browser window will open. This browser window will contain a list of all the karaoke songs in the library in alphabetical order by Artist Name. Each song will appear with three fields: Song Code, Artist Name and Song Title. The list is formatted as comma-delimited and quotation marks are used a qualifiers. The hierarchy of the sort is Artist Name, Song Title and Song Code. The data is only as up-to-date as the Data Timestamp displayed on this page. By click on the View By Song Title link, a new browser window will open. This browser window will contain a list of all the karaoke songs in the library in alphabetical order by Song Title. Each song will appear with three fields: Song Code, Song Title and Artist Name. The list is formatted as comma-delimited and quotation marks are used a qualifiers. The hierarchy of the sort is Song Title, Artist Name and Song Code. The data is only as up-to-date as the Data Timestamp displayed on this page. Below the View By Form are other data lists that may be used in spreadsheets or databases. In order for the following data lists to be up-to-date, make sure that you have clicked the Update Button ( The first data list is the Event Request Text List. This holds the songs that were in the Event Request List Form as of the timestamp indicated in the list. Each song will appear with three fields: Song Code, Song Title and Artist Name. The list is formatted as comma-delimited and quotation marks are used a qualifiers. The list is not sorted by any fields, but it is in the same order as the songs are listed in the Event Request List Form. The data is only as up-to-date as the Data Timestamp displayed on this page. The second data list is the Favorite Choices Text List. This holds the songs that were in the Favorite Choices List Form as of the timestamp indicated in the list. Each song will appear with three fields: Song Code, Song Title and Artist Name. The list is formatted as comma-delimited and quotation marks are used a qualifiers. The list is not sorted by any fields, but it is in the same order as the songs are listed in the Favorite Choices List Form. The data is only as up-to-date as the Data Timestamp displayed on this page. As a final reminder, be sure to click the Update Button ( Finding Out About Coming Klugh Theatre Events On the Home page of the Klugh Theatre web site, there is a countdown clock to the next Klugh Theatre event. To look further ahead at other Klugh Theatre events, click the EVENTS link in the Operation Header. Viewing Contributors Of The Klugh Theatre You can look at the pictures of the wonderful individuals who have contributed to the Klugh Theatre. Their pictures, names and donations are listed on the Contributors page. Gold Contributors are those who have contributed equipment to the Klugh Theatre. Silver Contributors are those who have contributed karaoke discs to the Klugh Theatre. Bronze Contributors are those who have contributed other items and services to the Klugh Theatre. To access the Contributors page, clicking the CONTRIBUTORS link in the Operation Header. Viewing Photographs Of Past Klugh Theatre Events You can look at the pictures from past Klugh Theatre events by going to the Photograph Collections page. You can do this clicking the PHOTOS link in the Operation Header. On the Photograph Collections page, you are shown a list of previous Klugh Theatre events with a photograph next to each event name. Click on the photograph next to any event to see the all of the photographs corresponding to that event. Viewing Videos Of Past Klugh Theatre Events You can look at the videos from past Klugh Theatre events by going to the Videos page. You can do this clicking the VIDEOS link in the Operation Header. On the Videos page, you are shown a list of videos along with the performer's name, title of the song they are performing, original artist name who performed the song, and the date that the video was recorded. Click on the projector icon next the the video you want to watch, and the video will play. This feature is not advised for people with slow Internet connections as the videos may take longer than desired to download. The projector icon is shown below: ![]() How To Rent The Klugh Theatre You can rent the Klugh Theatre for your own private parties. The prices and specifications on renting the Klugh Theatre are shown on the Home page of the Klugh Theatre web site. It is our hope that everyone
enjoys themselves at our Klugh Theatre events. In order for
participants to understand how the Klugh Theatre karaoke events work,
this help section has been made available. Preparing for Klugh Theatre karaoke event If you are going to be performing on the stage at the Klugh Theatre at a karaoke event, it is highly recommended that you prepare your Event Request List ahead of time. An Event Request List is a list of up to ten songs that you want to perform at the Klugh Theatre karaoke event. The Event Request list can be made in three different ways: * You can use a Klugh Theatre Request Card (available at the Klugh Theatre) * You can use the Event Request List Form on your member page on Klugh Theater web site * You can just make your own request card on paper or email In either of the three options, the format is the same. The Event Request List is a list of ten karaoke songs that you want to perform. The karaoke songs are listed in the order that you want to perform them. Each song must have contain the Song Code, Key, Song Title and Artist Name for the song, if it is a song in the Klugh Theatre karaoke library.
